Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse has finally delivered the news many fans have been waiting for: Dehya and Mika will soon be added to the roster of playable characters in the hit, gacha-infused ARPG.
Both upcoming arrivals to the Genshin Impact characters have been heavily-anticipated for quite some time, with reports indicating that they will arrive on the Genshin Impact 3.5 banners later this year.
Known throughout Sumeru’s mercenary circles as ‘Flame-Mane’, Dehya is described by the studio as being “brave without being impulsive, and strong without being arrogant.” Dignified and headstrong, Dehya has been able to “accumulate much combat wisdom through various battles, and she is by no means your typical insolent and ignorant martial artist.”
Mika, meanwhile, represents the first Monstadt addition to the ever-expanding character list since Eula’s arrival in May 2021.
The Front-Line Land Surveyor of the Knights of Favonius, Mika constitutes part of the Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Company. In this capacity, Mika is tasked with “surveying unexplored regions, recording topographical data, and drawing accurate and effective maps.”
Though he dreams of becoming an expert cartographer, Mika doesn’t pursue it with a single-mindedness that disregards others. In fact, HoYo says that Mika attaches a great deal of value to teamwork, is diligent in his duties, and possesses “a genuine desire to learn from his experienced colleagues.”
Though no more details surrounding the pair have been revealed at this time, we can imagine it won’t be long before their abilities, materials, and more come to light.
In the meantime, be sure to check out what’s coming up on the Genshin Impact 3.4 banners, which include the Genshin Impact Alhaitham banner release date.
