According to the Twitch megastar himself, a Kai Cenat Fortnite tournament is in the works, seeing him follow the likes of Ludwig and MrBeast

Over the course of the year, Kai Cenat has dominated Twitch. Surpassing the likes of Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel and Nicholas ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff, Cenat’s popularity hasn’t gone unnoticed by Epic Games. Yep, a Kai Cenat Fortnite tournament is officially in the works.

During his recent Twitch broadcast, the streamer announces that “Kai Cenat’s Fortnite Mafia Showdown” is coming to the battle royale in the future. “Fortnite is allowing us to run our own tournament,” says Cenat.

Though the Twitch star claims he “can’t announce anything else” about the Fortnite event, Cenat promises “there’s supposed to be a lot of good people [competing] in this.” Who could these “good people” turn out to be? Well, we wager that xQc will bring his speedy comms to the battlefield. Or perhaps Darren ‘IShowSpeed’ Watkins Jr might be ready to drop in too.

Currently, it is unclear whether a tasty cash prize will be in the mix. Cenat and Epic may take a page from Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren’s ‘Fortnite Mondays’ tournaments and offer up at least $100,000. That should be enough V-Bucks for the winner, just in time for the Fortnite Giannis Antetokounmpo skin release.

Maybe we’ll see the arrival of a Kai Cenat Fortnite skin in the future. If Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson or Geralt of Rivia can get one, then it’s fair game.

Until Cenat’s tournament debuts, you’ll need to brush up on Fortnite best landing spots for Chapter 4 Season 1. Just like the map, the game is always changing, so you’ll need to learn how to activate an augment in Fortnite along the way.
