NickEh30, Myth, dakotaz and more react to Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2

Cut the dramatic spy music because Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2 has arrived, and this time, players have to take back the island from a group known as the agency. The top secret season, which is already the top game on Twitch, is being hailed by players online.

There were high expectations for Season 2, especially given how the dramatic way Epic Games launched last season, but despite the gold-themed teasers that have been thrown our way in recent days, no one quite expected this. Players are greeted by a new menu, complete with a stacked battle pass, limited time operations that will “change the island forever,” and, of course, a new map.

The changes have been generally well-received by the community following the end of the extra-long last season, and the addition of Apex Legends style vaults, gold-tier guns, and new skins has got everyone excited. So, without further ado, here’s how some of the biggest streamers reacted to the start of Season 2.

Nicolas ‘NickEh30’ Amyoony was one of the first streamers on Twitch to try out the new season, and it’s fair to say he was pretty hyped. The streamer was drawn straight to the battle pass which he bought in its entirety before even dropping into a match. Baller.

Brett ‘Dakotaz’ Hoffman loved the “dope” vaults in game, even if they accidentally teleported him to a different part of the map.

Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf, the winner of the Fortnite World Cup, won his first ever match in Chapter 2, Season 2 with a lovely flick. Who could ever have doubted him.

Like Dakotaz, Ben ‘DrLupo’ Lupo couldn’t contain his excitement when he, Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop, and Ali ‘Myth’ Kabbani opened the vault for the first time and noticed C4s were back.

Tim ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar finally got his own skin, complete with chicken legs and he’s absolutely ‘delighted’.

CouRage has finally gone to bed after hitting 43,000 peak concurrent viewers over on YouTube and playing a couple of games of the new season. He’s previously said Fortnite “completely changed my life” and these new streaming stats certainly attest to that.

Epic Games has given Fortnite a new lease of life with Chapter 2, Season 2, and it’s safe to say we’ll be seeing it among the top games on Twitch and other streaming platforms for a while. Epic Games definitely has the Midas Touch when it comes to refreshing Fortnite and adding new content.
