Fortnite World Cup Solos champion Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf has revealed that he is looking for a new squad to join for the upcoming Fortnite Champion Series, despite previously announcing his four-man team.
The 16-year-old, who represents esports organisation Sentinels, confirmed in September that he was teaming with NRG’s Williams ‘Zayt’ Aubin, Ghost Gaming’s Rocco ‘Saf’ Morales and Team Liquid’s ‘Stretched’ for the competitive Fortnite season ahead. However he has now claimed to be on the hunt for a new squad, saying that his new teammates must be “comfortable with streaming”.
As well as being scarily good at the game, Bugha has found success streaming himself playing on Twitch, including some of his competitive scrims. This appears to have caused issues with his previous squad, as streaming your practice matches can lead to tactics and strategies being given away or stream sniping. It seems as if the team were not willing to keep one of the best Fortnite pros out there on their side at the expense of having their strats out there for fellow competitors to see.
Looking for squad as a solo, (COMFORTABLE WITH STREAMING)

Bugha’s announcement that he had split from his squad was met with general surprise from the Fortnite community and speculation as to who he will join up with now is rife.
The upcoming Champion Series will be the first competitive event of Fortnite Chapter 2. With it being a Squads event, it’s seen a number of well-known players join forces to create some extremely strong teams of four.
The most notable was Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney’ being reunited with former FaZe teammate Dennis ‘Cloakzy’ Lepore, despite the pair going separate ways in the last competitive Fortnite season after a row.
The Champion Series begins on November 1st, so Bugha has just over a week to find himself a new squad who will allow him to both compete and stream. Although he’s given himself a small window, there will be countless squads scrambling to get him on their team and it wouldn’t be surprising to see teammates getting dropped if the opportunity to pick up Bugha arises.
