The latest Fortnite season is a bonafide treat for Attack on Titan fans. While Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 already contains the presence of Eren Yeager, the legendary manga-turned-anime isn’t finished with Epic Games just yet. So, get your chug splashes together and a Havoc Pump Shotgun Mythic, because two new Fortnite Attack on Titan skins are heading to the island sooner than you think.
The good news comes from the official Fortnite Twitter account, which shares a brand new look at fresh Attack on Titan cosmetics set to appear in the beloved Epic Games battle royale game. Adorned with Fortnite’s vibrant visual aesthetic, players can look forward to Mikasa Ackerman and Levi Ackerman taking centre stage soon on the island. The video shows the pair navigating the likes of Anvil Square with gorgeously fluid movement, using the anime’s famed omni-directional mobility gear. But it gets better for Attack on Titan fanatics because the ODM gear is heading to the game as a mythic item too.
While the tweet itself may leave a little to be desired in the captioning department, fans of Attack on Titan will note the inclusion of “dedicate your hearts.” For those of you yet to sink your teeth into the show or manga, the caption refers to the 136th overall chapter of Attack on Titan, which features a pivotal moment for Armin Arlert – but we won’t spoil that for you here.
Similar to that of the Spider-Man webs or Grapple Hook items seen in previous updates, the ODM gear will grant players the ability to travel around the map with grace as they soar through the skies. The absence of the brilliant Spider-Man web mythic has been sorely felt in Fortnite, with many players noting they were accurate to the character – and perhaps better than Marvel’s Avengers version of Spidey.
YouTuber ‘ShuffleGamer’ showcases the ODM gear mythic in a recent video, which we’ve taken the liberty of linking above for you. It is likely that this item will arrive with the Mikasa and Levi Ackerman skins, which appear to be dated for an April 11 release, according to Fortnite’s reveal video tweet. While these characters won’t be part of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 battle pass, we wager that Epic Games will bundle them together for at least 2,800 V-Bucks.
In the meantime, Fortnite Creative is delighting players with an array of incredible creations. So don’t hesitate to check out the best Fortnite Creative codes and confirm which maps are your favourite.
