With the FIFA 20 esports season only a few weeks away, lots of interesting transfer moves are being made. However, Mossad ‘Msdossary’ Aldossary may have just made the biggest transfer yet.
The Saudi Arabian, who was FIFA 18 world champion and is one of the biggest names in FIFA esports, has signed for Roc Nation, the entertainment agency founded by rap legend Jay-Z. In doing so, he’s become the first esports player to ever sign for the brand. Msdossary, who was previously with Rogue, has joined famous sports stars such as Tremaine Williams, Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Wilson and Kevin De Bruyne on RocNation’s books, signalling a bright future for the FIFA star and esports as a whole.
Speculation over who Msdossary would be signing for has been rife over the last couple of weeks, with many believing Msdossary’s meeting with Kevin De Bruyne suggested he would be signing with Manchester City, but now everything has been revealed, his recent escapades make sense.
And while the FIFA player can’t wait to get started, we’re hoping that Jay-Z’s investment into the esports industry will open up to other games in the future.

Msdossary’s first major outing as a Roc Nation player will likely be the first FUT Champions Cup of the FIFA 20 Global Series season which runs from November 8-10. He has automatically qualified for this tournament as a result of finishing second at the eWorld Cup in August, where he was defeated in the final by German Mohammed ‘MoAuba’ Harkous.
