Diablo 4’s release date is set for June 6, 2023. This was revealed in a trailer at The Game Awards 2022
This follows a Microsoft Store leak from ‘Aggiornamenti Lumia’ on Twitter which revealed the date, alongside the current file size for the game.

Taking place many years after Diablo 3, Diablo 4 picks up as millions have been killed by the High Heavens and Burning Hells. With a gap left open, Lilith returns and her grip on Sanctuary takes hold, leaving the world in a dark place.
Before Lilith returned a sense of balance was restored in Sanctuary, but that has all been thrown out the window, letting you take Lilith on.
