Call of Duty: Warzone could be getting a moving train in Season 5

A new report suggests we're going to see some pretty big changes in Verdansk

Call of Duty: Warzone’s stadium is by far the biggest building on the Verdansk map, but it can be frustrating when the circle closes in around it, forcing players to take on fights in big open spaces. Well, it looks like those days are over because Infinity Ward is apparently preparing to make some pretty big changes to the map come the start of Season 5.

According to a report by VGC, stadium’s interior is finally going to be opened up to players. A moving train, similar to the ones in Apex Legends and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, will also be added so that players can board and loot as it goes around the map.

The map changes, which follow on from the opening of bunkers that held nuclear warheads and led to the reveal of Season 4 and Captain Price, are reportedly meant to tie in with the reveal of the  next Call of Duty game: Black Ops: Cold War.

While Black Ops will have its own single-player campaign, multiplayer, and zombies modes, Warzone will act as the “through line” for the franchise and be a playable mode for those wanting to dive into some battle royale action.

This has only been echoed by the discovery of Black Ops protagonist Frank Woods in the Modern Warfare game files this week, leading many to believe Woods might be the next playable operator in the game.

However, we’re still a way off Season 5. For now players will have to get stuck into the latest update, which made some pretty big changes to the Grau and MP5.
