Warzone 2 Vondel Map: A soldier can be seen with an RPG

The Warzone Vondel map is here with Season 4 and bringing a European backdrop to the competitive shooter. The third map to be introduced into Warzone, this is undoubtedly going to offer a more close-quarters, urban experience than the likes of Al Mazrah.

Warzone‘s seasonal updates have been hit and miss but, Season 4 is shaping up to be pretty good. If you’re not sick of the ever-shifting Warzone meta yet, then this map will be a great way to try out some of the Warzone Season 4 guns and weapons and get a feel for some of the new items added to the map.

Warzone Vondel Map

The Warzone Vondel map is a new map in Season 4 set in the Netherlands and features a diverse set of locations from roads to large historical sites to open hillsides. It contains the following new gameplay additions and POIs:

  • POIs: Castle, University, City Hall, Central Station, Graveyard, Market, Mall, Market, Police Station, Museum, Exhibit, Cruise Terminal, Stadium, Zoo, Floating District, Fire Department
  • New weapons
  • New case rewards
  • A new vehicle-based boss
  • New contract
  • Tactical Amphibious vehicle
  • High Stakes Public event
  • Flare Field reinforcement upgrade

The first gameplay trailer for Vondel debuted during Summer Game Fest 2023 and shows off what we can expect from the map with it looking like the Warzone map we have all wanted for a while. You can check it out below or in-game right now!

Beenox is behind this game, which is unique as they have largely worked on the PC version of the game and other projects rather than brand-new content for Call of Duty. However, Beenox (with some assistance from fellow Call of Duty studio, Raven Software), did develop Rebirth Island for Warzone.
