Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 players grinding camos on Shipment need to use this simple yet brilliant weapon XP method to rank up their best MW2 guns

Modern Warfare 2 boasts 51 unique weapons to get your hands on, but grinding them for camos or attachments isn’t an easy feat. The Season 1 Reloaded midseason update has brought back classic Call of Duty map Shipment, the ultimate stomping ground for those that love to grind. If you’re eager to get your Orion camo early, then this MW2 weapon XP method could be an essential tool in your arsenal.

Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 YouTuber ‘LegoUnlocked’ is using a weapon XP tactic that is perfect for Shipment. The best part of it all? It isn’t a glitch. The method requires players to have unlocked Decoy Grenades, the Extra Tactical and Overlock perks, and the DDOS Field Upgrade.

All you need to do is drop into Shipment, throw your Decoy Grenades into populated areas and start racking up those kills. Decoy Grenades will grant extra XP for each player affected, with upwards of 200XP in some instances. You’ll initially only get two Decoy Grenades, though, making Extra Tactical a great perk for adding one more to your loadout.

Using the DDOS will achieve a similar XP outcome when its blast hits players or disables enemy equipment such as Sentry Guns. Overclock will reduce your Field Upgrade recharge time, meaning you can use your DDOS dozens of times per match.

The method is so effective that LegoUnlocked took his Modern Warfare 2 Chimera loadout to nearly max level in just one Shipment match. Rinse and repeat for all the best MW2 guns, and you’re laughing.

With the Shipment playlist putting players into objective-based modes like Hardpoint, the YouTuber also stresses the importance of being a team player. Chaining kills together on the Hardpoint itself will double your XP gain, giving your weapon a tidy XP increase too.

Unless Infinity Ward is feeling particularly mean, you’ll be able to use this method until Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 release date next year and beyond, and it’ll be vital for your Modern Warfare 2 ranked mode loadouts.
